WindTech Streamlines Wind Modelling with Geoscape Data

WindTech, an Australian wind engineering consultancy, has significantly improved their building modelling process with Geoscape Buildings.

Previously, creating models for wind analysis was time-consuming, requiring manual drawing from various data sources. The Geoscape solution offered a single source of high-quality data, streamlining WindTech’s workflow.

Marcel Bray, a project engineer at WindTech, discovered Geoscape data through a colleague. Impressed by the quality of its tailored building outline and height data attributes and easy integration, WindTech adopted Geoscape data delivery via Shapefile. This change has significantly reduced manual labour, saving at least three hours per project.

Bray praises Geoscape’s clear communication and product integration, stating, “I know the design engineering team will make this product meet every demand we have.”

The outcome is clear: increased productivity and reduced manual work. WindTech’s team now quickly reviews and incorporates Geoscape data into their models, facilitating their detailed wind analysis.
