Bushfires represent one of the most pressing challenges facing communities, particularly in regions prone to extreme weather conditions. Recognizing the importance of proactive risk management, Geoscape initiated the development of an innovative web-based application aimed at empowering individuals to assess and address their bushfire risk.

Project

The Bushfire Resilience Rating Home Self-Assessment App is a free online platform designed to provide users with evidence-based tools for improving bushfire safety. Funded by the National Emergency Management Agency, the project draws upon Geoscape’s expertise in geospatial intelligence and collaboration with industry partners.
